@Shar Richie Harris - definitely a lot of Jewel in there! I didn't want to say that in the cast before; some people hate being compared to other writers, but it is so powerful!

The bad news? I was unable to catch the live cast but I am now because this am and pm I played guitar (and some piano) at a church camp meeting and this am I was slapping the pick guard with my pinky pick and liking the effect and this pm I took off my thumb and pinky pics went open hand and was slapping/popping in 3 different spots on that Martin and even put a scratch when I came at the wrong angle by my thumb nail but it worked well with the loose beat country gospel style used. I also worked some with slapping the strings there at the last. I find while I am not even in the same country with you Preston in terms of command and skill level I was feeling VERY natural in the feel and sound of this approach not to mention the excitement of a 'new' thing. I am aggressively tearing out and doing rebuilding in terms of rut-like comfort zones in music. THANKS FOR SHOWING THE WAY ON THIS ONE! Very soon I hope to show a brand new instrument that I am inventing (just got the last of the parts needed) that will have very serious possibilities.
